Greetings.
I've run into a roadblock and I can't make up my mind. This is what's being modeled, and he's almost 100% done:

The difficulty is with the mouth. Most rigs separate the inner mouth dome from the lips. This provides the advantage of easier blend shapes and such, but making it a single mesh guarantees we can see the connection of the inner cheek to the jawbone and the lips.
With this in mind I ask -- would it be better to keep the inner mouth dome saperate, or do everything as one mesh, with the goal of achieving a unified looking mesh?
Thanks in advance!
