Hello
First post here, but I have been reading here for some months now.

I have problem to understanding what happen between step 12 and 13. I can't get the right touce on. From the tutorial Now one thing I do nowadays is color tint the whole image cold blue and then use hue layers, not color layers.. Could someone explain it to me, I'm using photoshop.

ok, on step 12, that person is using a layer with his colors, then the layer below it is his black and white. the layer you have your color on , just set that to mulitpy or somethign to get the right look. thats all he is doing.

Thanks for helping, but it seams to me that he is using another method that what you said. Because when you are using the multiply method, the highlighting (white on the black and white layer) doesn't get lighter that the color that were used on the color layer above.

There are more blending modes.
Try Colour, Overlay, Hardlight, or something.

I have already tried them all, but couldn't get the right touch and that why I did ask here from the beging. But thanks for trying to help. :thumbsup:

I did some poking around.
Looks to me like he set the Blending mode to Colour and then did some de-saturating.
He does mention that he uses the Sponge to de-saturate the shadows.
That's what I did and it looked pretty close to what he has.
