Hello everyone, im sure this is a very basic issue so hopefully somebody can help as i cant for lthe life of me work it out!

What im doing is useing Cinima 4D to do some 3D typography. I have made the type ok and am very plaese but its due to be put on a white page, i have used the lighting to get the shadows i want and have made a white floor but cant seem to get rid of the black background. Basicaly i want the type to stand in an all white enviroment rather than black? is there anyway to change the defualt black sorounding area to a white space? im sure there must be a simple solution! i hope! THANK YOU SO MUCH IF YOU CAN HELP!

cheers, Jason

Add a background and a ground object. attache a compositing tag to your ground object with "Compositing Background" enabled. Add the same material to both objects. Voilą.

as jacesk8 said use the compositing background enabled, because when enabling it you tell cinema 4d that this object is a self illuminated object! so it takes like a matte color :) "i think"
