Hi everybody

I am pretty new with this shading-stuff and tried to set-up a decent sss-shader (mostly following the free gnomon-tutorial).
But in any tutorial I found only a bump-map was applied. So I was wondering if you can apply a normal-map to an sss-shader?
I read the hole misss_test thread, went to masterZapīs site asked aunt google, but nothing about sss + normal-maps (perhaps something overlooked?).

As I said, I m pretty new at this and the only way I can think of applying a normal map is by dragging it into the bump-channel (then set to tangent space) or direct-linking into the normal-camera.

But I get different effects or better said, just with the normal-camera I get an effect. If I use the bump-node there are no changes at all (but when set from tangent-space to bump there is an effect).

And if I use the normal-camera everything will become flat.

Hope you can help me out.
Thank you for taking the time.
