View Full Version : Problem with Detail from Zbrush to Max

Hello 3d people!

Recentely I started to use Zbrush and I am really amazed by the power of that tool. I only have one problem I canīt understand. See in that picture is a model in Zbrush (right) and the exact same model in max (left), the detail is all blurred in max when it was allright in Zbrush. I need help....if anyone knows how I can get that detail in to max I would be very happy. hehehe

Hi Pedro Dias,
You can't expect the brush details which you made in Zbrush if you take the mesh in 3DS Max or Maya. For this, you have to create a normal map of the model in Zbrush after making necessary brush details. Then export the model to other 3D application. Apply the normal map through the bump map slot in the material stack. Don't forget to give enough smoothness to the model. xxx[/SIZE]xxx[/FONT]
