The composition and the colors are especially nice in this last piece. But what myth are you trying to represent? Steampunk time machines and magnetism are both very cool, but don't forget the second half of the theme! :)

Thanks for pointing that out, I got overcarried by the "steampunk theme" that I totaly forgot about explaining the myth.

Mythology of time travel & Pandora's box:

Chronos, the Greek god of Time wanted a sacrifice in order to do time traveling .

In order to activate the time traveling machine he needs insane amount of energy which can be provided by opening the panadora's box, however panadora's box is known for releasing ills and diseases to whoever opens it, so Chronos is tricking a town folk to open it for him.


The panadora box will appear in the next WIP, thanks again for the feedback :).

Well, it's good to know you have something in mind... although the theme for this Challenge is to reinterpret an existing myth, not to make up a completely new one. :shrug:

I pictured hope as a bright object, Pandora is trying to put hope back in the box where it belongs.
