Here is my submission, took about 30 minutes or so, done in SBP. The concept is that the flower will spread its seed to create more, thus taking over the other flowers territory.. ^_^

I tried really hard this time to force myself to use only color and no outlines, and I think it turned out surprisingly well. I obviously don't have the properly lighting and shading, and there are numerous other flaws I can point out, but overall I am fairly happy with the result.

EDIT: Also, I apologize for the wide image, but CGS Portfolio only allows me to upload images that are at least 600x600.. so the height IS 600, but the width is 1000 some odd... :/ Sorry.

EDIT2: Also Creeto, I like the subtle touch you added to the leaves to make them look like blades, great idea!

Okay. I should explain this a little. This is a vampire character I have.
A *male* one, in fact. He's very old, and he's also part water deity, and dark fae.
For whatever reason I pictured something like this when I heard "war of the flowers" like perhaps this was a war that took place while he was alive or something, like some kind of weird druid war or something. Meh. Either way, 30 mins photoshop.

45 minutes, PS.

Was going for a Braveheart-type battle front. Yes, some of them are armed. I like the sunflowers looming up from behind, but I didn't quite pull it off in time. It just looks like a bunch of flowers.
