Uninstancing Instanced objects

trying saying that a few times in a row and fast. Could be the coolest new 3d tongue twister.

anyways.......:hmm:

Ive copied a few objects and instanced them, now I want to model each one separately how can how "uninstance them"

and also

If you copy a few objects with out istancing them, how do you Instance then without having to go back and copying them again.

thanks

The first is simple, the 2nd can't be done.

1) There's a button over just below the stack-editor. Just to the left of "show end result" I think, it's called "make unique". Hit it, and tadaa, no more Instance-ness.

2) making something instanced can't, afaik, be done. Then again, not an extreme amount of work that goes into instancing an object and using the align tool to align it to the object you originally wanted instance-ified. Copy, Align, Delete to-be-instanced object.. it's done all the time :).
