Title: Egg-Racer
Name: Greg Morris
Country: United Kingdom
Software: Photoshop

This Is a concept design I was asked to create for Dr.Eggman. The brief was simple, build a racing car for Eggman. I wanted to create a car that looked pretty unbelievable, but at the same time reflected the characters ego!
I must stress that the pic of Eggman at the side of the car is a stock image and i have used it purely to give the viewer an idea of scale and i do not wish to take credit for the design.
the car was created in PS CS3, let me Know your thoughts,
kind regards,

Greg Morris

Nice piece of design. My thoughts are that it would have benefit more from a bit of research on Dr. Eggman's vehicles and trying to match his style. It sure is a nice car, but I think it's not the one Dr. Eggman would drive. Maybe a more egg-ish (yeah, pretty obvious) mechanical machine, more "robotic", with rivets and stuff, would have matched better the character. The wheels need a bit of extra development too, or at least correcting the perspective (try to use the same vanishing point as the front aileron with the wheels).

Hope that helped :) keep on working mate!

slick rendering, I agree about the front wheels

Nice work. The surfaces look great. Good work on the highlights and shading.

crit:
As mentioned by Abelo and Ranath, the perspective of the wheel shapes need correcting (they don't match the car or the way they're placed of themselves). The perspective presentation of the car as a whole needs some refinement too.

Keep it up, the design looks great!
