Legend of Excalibur/King Arthur. Some early ideas, Merlin, Young Arthur, Morgana, Excalibur. Thinking of doing a tryptich or multiple images framed with ornate victorian flourishes. Maybe Excalibur buried in machine rather than stone. Or lady of the lake??? Not sure which way I'll go.

Great choice of topic and I love the sketches Dave - the kid with the knee pads and the close up of the other one with the underlighting and the goggles on her are my faves. Looking forward to see what you choose as your final composition.
