Hello everyone,

Hollywood Technical Director & Visual Effects Specialist Allan McKay is back with a brand new workshop for January 2009! Allan will take you through visual effects from a production standpoint, and follow the process from the initial pre-production stages through to the integration of your special effects into a scene. You will be mastering all areas of FX and applying it to a simulated production pipeline. This workshop is designed to take things to the next level and prepare artists for real world pipelines and big studios. You’ll be using FumeFX and Afterburn to create your amazing effects and then use Fusion to composite your effects into your chosen scene.

Enrolled students will receive vouchers for their 65 day trial plug-ins of Afterburn 4 and FumeFX as well as a link to download the learning edition of Fusion 5, courtesy of eyeon Software Inc.

Student numbers will be strictly limited to 35 places only. For more details and enrolment information go to Hollywood VFX – Visual Effects for Live Action Integration with Allan McKay (http://workshops.cgsociety.org/courses/000093/)
