Can someone enlighten me. Is Bodypaint Mac OS X native, the only demo I can find is a classic app. Is there a OS X demo?

It would be nice if I could try it out in os x before committing myself to buying it. I'll have to talk to Maxon uk and find out what the deal is.

i don't think there is a stand alone any more... it integrated itself into my v8

although i kept it separte in v7.

maybe the v8 demo has it integrated as well to tryout?

I think there are still two versions but from what I gathered from talking to Maxon this morning the integrated version can still talk to the data exchange plugin (so that I can use it with Lightwave- he hopes..) May be there is a demo on my 4d install disc. Thanks for the nudge.

Download the full R8 demo, this has bodypaint included. But no, the demo cannot use any plugins, including the lw/max exchange plugins im afraid.

that isn't completly true ... the plugins run in the demo version so you can send the data to bodypaint ... only the send back functionality is missing ...
