** 2010 Slight update to her skin tone...**

Here she is, the result of a few weeks work, all of which is documented in the CGTalk forums.

For a change I decided to work to a concept so I chose one by artist Dominic Marco which was nto only cool, but also matched my own style.

I built her in Silo before rendering in Maya. I then tweaked her and added further details in Photoshop.

I would like to say thanks to all those who contributed in the forums!

You did so well on this! I do feel the shaders/textures are pretty basic, but if that's the style you wanted. The character herself is very sexy. Deadline was right too. Proud of you. =]

Very well done! Her body is brilliantly modeled - especially around her stomach and armpit. Nicely done hair too. I like the striking colours as well.

Great stuff.

EDIT:
Out of curiosity, did you ask Dominic Marco for permission to recreate the pic in 3d? I can understand recreating the character and posing her differently, but you duplicated the pose as well. Its not a complaint - it looks brilliant (if not more so) in 3d, and very faithful, but im just a bit paranoid when it comes to being influenced by something so literally.

Hope you dont mind me posting the original 2d image here to clarify the inspiration to those who havent been following the WIP:

Being paranoid too I did ask Dominic and luckily he was fine with it...in fact he said I could do another if I wanted he liked her that much :)

p.s. I downloaded wallpaper and replaced with Mila Kunis wallpaper on my desktop... That's really a big thing for me! :D

thats a really cool character read the whole wip thread ....

and also saw your webpage only to realise you are the same guy who wrote game character developement with maya. I bought it while i was at uni, thanks for the skin shader and hd wall paper
