View Full Version : Some concepts for my new short movie :)

Hi all, I would like to use this thread to go uploading the concept art I go finishing for my short movie in preproduction ("Obitus perpetuum"). These first 2 has been my first contact with photoshop as an art tool so I know there will be a lot of errors, sorry :P Actually I m finishing the script and starting to paint some of the characters I will use on the movie. The story will be explained with everything done in 3d so these concepts and sketches are just a base for me to design and color keying. I will post the 3rd concept once I start it to show you the progress and see where and how to go improving it as I m painting it. I want to give you all thanks in advance for all the support and feedback in terms of crits and comments you can send me.

Here we go with a new character, this time a little girl named Sara.. I ve started blocking out the base colors I want for her, planning the light emitters and dividing everything into layers with my pencil sketch as a base. Then I ve duplicated the layers and turned down saturation. Over these new layers I ve roughly painted where my lighted and darked areas will be placed...

I ve started a new wip for the character "Sara" in another different style. Itīs just the color blocking, I will proceed to start detailing it as next step. Hope you like how itīs starting to look ;)
I would be glad to receive some crits and comments to improve it. Thanks!
