andrewley 06-20-2003, 08:28 PM Hi, Im 19 and live in Manchester (UK)
This is my first model done using maya (I usually use max) and my first post here.
Still needs textures and the rigging needs a bit of work.
Sorry about the crappy rendering...still leaning mental ray
Suggestions on the modelling are welcome
Cheers

good stuff. i have some crits though: some parts of the helmet appear not to be (properly) smoothed. and in the 3rd pic, the front of the breasts are too flat

Yeah I was tryin to keep the poly count down so its not smoothed properly, but its ok for previewing. This is my first human female model and I thought breasts would be more fun to model but they have been really difficult to get right.
very sexy body ..nice ...but work on the eyes , and show us where the mouth is.. :D
:applause:

I think some of the product design and architecture courses have 3d modules but when I was looking into their animation course last year they didn't use any CGI etc.

here's a test render of the face texture(WIP) with specular and bump map.
This is my first face texture so I could really use some advice in this area.
btw I going for an anime look here not too photorealistic.
