i'm trying to make a transparent flag with some semitransparent numbers on(flag should look like plastic).. i made this with bhodiNUT Fusion in the color chanell where i used image mask, and i copied it in the transparency chanell.. also there is a hdri in the sky object..

as u can see the result isn't the best, and i'm trying to make it look real..

any sugestions, pls..??

for a start you don't need refraction on an object like this, or if you do you should add in a very gentle bump map and the ior should be very very low. dont make it 100% transparent instead make it less than 90% even glass is only 90%. next your specular is way too blown out, if you're using reflection to reflect the HDRI, then put in a fresnel int he reflection and set it's mode to multiply, then just lower the brightness slider to a point where you're only getting bright whites at the brightest points. if you have al ight in there too then drop the specular width some and maybe give it some falloff. see what youg et from there and experiment.
