View Full Version : 3dsmax9: how to "render ALL to texture"?

This is a simple model to try what i want:
As you can see, rendering to texture produces all the bumpmap effect and ball shadow... but i need to have also the orange ball and the "engine" rendered on the final texture.

Is it possible to do it without "photoshopping"? (i need to apply this to a more complex model)

Hi,

Maybe you should attach the sphere object and the engine to the ship to make a multimesh(single) object that will be calculated as a whole in the render to texture process.
In this way te multi/subobject material will be created for the three assembled objects.
