View Full Version : Jumpy Mouse Controls in Vue 6

Is anyone else having trouble with Mouse Controls in Vue (6)? When scaling/rotating/moving objects the mouse jumps around so that it becomes difficult to do precise adjustments.

I'm using a Logitech Mouse with SetPoint Driver and the Mouse speed is set rather fast. If I use the OS (Windows Vista) Mouse Speed the mouse controls seem to work correctly in Vue but it's way to slow for my taste.

Likewise with a Wacom Tablet, although it seems to be a little less worse there but there is still jumpiness when using it.

Uhm no. It really is so that if I for example try to scale an object and move the mouse it will jump around and doesn't stay on the position where I want it to be. In the video tutorials from GeekAtPlay this is not the case and it would be completely ridiculous if this mouse behavior were normal.

I would think this is my mouse driver but then this also happens with the Wacom in Pen-Mode.

Check Logitech and see if there is an updated mouse driver. I have a SetPoint mouse and don't have any problems, but then I'm on XP.

There is also a patch out for Vue 7 - so check that you have that too.
