Some of it I saw right here in CG Talk in progress, it's nice to see it finished and being displayed on Newtek's site!

Proton: Art is art and I'm always glade to see updates even if it's of other applications, just one thing, why isn't this in the lightwave3d section? is it realy CG news when the gallery gets updated not exactly software updates? please tell.. :shrug:

I will tell you my €0.02.
The choice in saturated colours look all wrong. The engraved letters on the wall don't look quite belevable.
To much specular on the walls.
I don't see why the end of the front wall should be dark and the column just beside it illuminated.
The lightningbolts look out of place, indoors is it?, lightning is *bigger*. An Egyptian column mixed with a Greek god?
Zeus' hands look a little off aswell. His pose isn't that good either.
In fact, I think the whole pic would look better if you just let away the walls, the column and the ground.
The smoke looks very good though :)

Erm, sorry for all the crits Julez, I hope it doesn't sound to harsh. :shrug:

Wow, lots of good stuff this round! I like the new ray sena stuff and hellraiser and terry ford's stuff and nikos gatos MG, too many things to mention. :drool:

But proton, the gallery is getting a bit unruly. It needs categories, and wouldn't it be cool if people could give a 1-5 star rating, that way the most popular images could be showcased when the visitor first comes to the site.

EDIT: And one other thing, MAKE THE IMAGES BIGGER! At least so they use up most of the room in the HTML table.

Lots of very nice images and some stuff that doesn't quite look good enough to be in there. I'd also vote for making categories for ease of browsing.

No prob... I wish you would have been chimed in on my thread when i was developing it. Shazam is an canaanite who become a powerful wizard and live in Egypt for centuries and then when to greek and Rome and plead with their gods for poriton of thier powers..he gave it to Billy Batson who says Shazam and becomes Captain Marvel.
