View Full Version : Export Animated mask into an Image Sequence

hi everyone!

I've created in After Effects a series of animated Masks that I'd like now to export for use in another software. I need to export them like an image sequence (tif or tga or jpg...).

Is it possible?

Render an image sequence (Alpha only?). Exporting the masks as vector file sequences is not possible.The only other option in that direction would be an SWF file, if the masks are on solids, but SWF's themselves are non-editable, os it's a chicken-hen problem in a way...

If you change the Channels from RGB to Alpha in the Video output section, which is found in the Output Module Settings of the Render Queue, After effects with render out a luma matte.
