Hi guys,

When creating a merged shot (where as the camera moves the scene goes from a cartoon-ish line drawing to a photoreal scene, what is the most efficient way of setting up shaders?

Does one have to set up different shaders for the line render and the photoreal one? Or is there a way of setting up and using for both renders a single set of shaders?

Thanks,

Martin

The best option would be to make and render two different scenes.
One with the 'line' shaders applied, one with the 'photoreal' shaders applied,
and then use your favorite compositing package to do the reveal.

This method will give you the most control for your transition.
