-GUI

2-Open Azary.ma in your maya
3-You have a shelf that called "Azary".
4-click on the icon .

Hey man I checked out your rig the other day on highend3d. I gotta say, this is a simply outstanding rig! I couldn't believe so many people were rating it poorly just because he looks like the AM Bishop rig. I would say this is arguably the best/most robust free rig I've seen for Maya. Thanks so much for sharing!

That being said, I would like to be able to rotate the clavicles instead of only translating them. Also, The controls for the thumb were rather odd, and I had a hard time getting it into some poses, If I remember correctly the thumb pivots oddly with some of the controls, like it will pivot in the center rather than at the base of the joint.

Hello,

Just wanted to point out that I believe this rig has been taken down, possibly for being a derivative work of the AM Bishop rig. That being the case, you probably wouldn't want to be caught with this in your reel.

My apologies if this information is incorrect but from what I can tell from other forums and the AM forum this is the case :P

Yup, the animation police turned up at my house the other day and kicked the crap out of me for having this rig in my reel. And then they killed my cat.

Seriously, are you just trying to stir trouble or something? The rig is still there. Animation Mentor effectively stole the ball and legs rig from everyone, don't know why someone can't borrow the design of one of their characters to return the favour.

Hehe

Quite true blenderhead - f* the police, huh?

So it seems I was wrong about the reason for Azary being taken off, I am big enough to admit it. I'm really not trying to stir up stuff - and I hope I'm being polite in my posts.

This is an interesting post by Bobby Beck, that doesn't really relate to Azary, but is an interesting point: http://bobbyboom.blogspot.com/2008/08/animation-mentor-rigs-dont-ruin-your.html

And with so many awesome free rigs around - now including Norman from AAU - I think there are lots of options for people to use a variety of interesting rigs. Thanks Dawood for adding yours to that list.

Peace

quite dangerous...it's funny how the design looks exactly like the one from AM...of all the effort placed into the rigging...it would've helped if some of that spilled on the design part...just saying. :p
