View Full Version : Script Controller not evaluating realtime

Hey there,

I'm wondering how to make a script controller realtime. I have some a rollout driving custom attributes. Those attributes are used in a script controller to drive position & rotation values of the object containing the script controller.

The rollout has checkboxes that set states checked for by the script controller. When I click on a checkbox, the controlled object doesn't respond until I select something else on screen or move the time slider.

I've seen rollout/script controller combos behave realtime, but I can't seem to get that going.

Any ideas?

Just in case you didn't do it, don't forget to define the variables not in the script itself but in the left part of the window, where they have to be defined. Sometime ago I had problems with non-real time behaviour and that solved the problem ;)

Hi there.

Thanks for the tip. I made sure that all variables are defined in the left-hand side. I'll double-check again, though, to make sure.
