Hello.
This is the portrait of Edward Teach (Blackbeard). He was one of the most famous and dangerous pirates of the 18th century.
This is my artwork for new game project by Seaward.ru Team. Release 2010.

Looks great! The background and clouds I especially enjoy. Outstanding.

Only crit would be that the dirty white cloth appears too 'shiny' and smooth. I think there is too much contrast between the shadows and contrast on it - suggesting it is made of plastic or something else more reflective than fabric.

Lots of nice details. :)

He doesn't seem grounded; the horizon line should be lower I think.

Also, maybe including some atmospheric ambiance in the background i.e. crepuscular rays through the clouds. That would really bring out the "heroic" villain in him.

Beautiful work. I love the softness of the cloth, the fine detail on the guns.

The only crit that I have, is that the guns under his arm need some adjustment - they should have a shadow casted upon then, or less highlighting under his arm. Some of the guns also have incorrect perspective making them appear bent around the handle and mouth.

They stand out lot at the moment.
