View Full Version : Lost binding data
lildragon 06-19-2003, 11:40 AM Heya guys get this, so I'm working away on my challenge entry in Maya, had it all bond and ready to create a reference scene so I can animate, then all of a sudden all my binding data on the model is lost?!? it's happened twice now, maybe it's something I'm hitting by accident? I dunno but it's very frustrating :\ Well at least it's a good thing I save sequencial files. Any help would be appreciated

Speaking of referencing objects/scenes, what would happen if I animated in a referenced scene and later decide to adjust some weights, would this be reflected properly in the referenced scene? Because I heard of some peeps having probs with ref objects and such reverting back to their origin point.

yeah that's what I thought to, which why I usually hide or reference objects on layers I don't want to screw up by accident. :hmm:
