View Full Version : ZBrush 3.1 (Windows) license for sale

I've switched over to the Mac, so my Windows license is going unused. If anybody knows someone who is contemplating purchasing ZBrush, please send them my way - I've already been in touch with Pixologic regarding the license transfer process, so everything will be handled smoothly.

I also have perfect feedback on ebay under username "sennafan1" (including software sales, like a Lightwave license I sold a few years ago), so you can trust that things will be handled honestly.

I thought they had a voucher system or something when they announced that they were coming out with a Mac version, so that you could buy the Windows version and use that until they released the Mac version, then they would let you turn in your Win license and swap it for a Mac license.

Did you actually have to buy a whole other license?

Dustin - I originally owned the Windows version, and switched to Mac almost three years ago. Bought a Mac license back in February, when the Mac ZBrush 3 was supposedly "right around the corner". Of course, it took another eight months.....

As it turns out, though they never mention this when you buy the second license, you're not actually supposed to be able to sell the license for one platform independently (since they sell the second license at 1/2 price). However, because Pixologic support staff didn't tell me this when I wrote in for the license transfer instructions, and instead just gave the boilerplate on how to do the transfer, they ended up letting me sell the Windows license while keeping my Mac license.
