First, I like to thank Kaiskai for hosting my scene which you can download here:

http://cgi.third-era.com/~kaiskai/misc/faceoff.zip

It's a two second fight scene using MOCCA. Please post your comments on what I need to do to improve in it terms of CA. Heck, any comment would be good. Don't be afraid to rip me. It's my first real character animation so I'll understand. I've already made some improvements since I sent this file to Kaiskai to host.

Thanks again Kaiskai,

Tuan Nguyen

nobody replied so far? Nice scene work and obvious where the idea came from.

another camera would be cool or some camera moves.

AND make the fight longer. want to see more really cool moves.
Seen the movie "hero"? Go get it, thats insane fighting.

Hi. Great scene. I like the environment. The female looks real good. I think she looks very fluid in her movement. The male seems like he could use a little more anticipation. Pulling his arms ack a lot more to show more force when he brings the blade down. Also perhaps more bend in the knees(this part may just be me-I think if you brought the hips down more and added more to the knee bends he would look like he has more weight). Nice camera move. Hope to see more!

Thanks everyone for replying. I've already made some of the suggested changes. I actually have about one minute of character animation that I like. This scene that I posted, I didn't like at all and that was why I posted it. I wanted your input. The new scene is a lot better. I re-rigged the female character because I needed her to do a backflip. If anyone wants to see some of the improvements please give me your e-mail or if you can host the file for me, please contact me. I would ask Kaiskai again, but I don't want to use up his bandwidth.(Thanks again Kaiskai for hosting) I wish I could show the scenes that I like, but I use hotmail and I can only send 3MB files. My scenes are a lot bigger than that.

Thanks for all the suggestions,
Tuan
