View Full Version : Need to learn how to do this animated text effect

Hi,

I need to learn how to animate text in a certain way, where the camera quickly moves from one surface to another with the text on it.

An example is here at the start of Andrew Kramer's tutorial:
I am looking at the animated Creative Cow intro (the actual tutorial has nothing to do with it)

Does anyone know of any tutorials that deal with this?

Please, do read the help files. This is the most basic stuff - just some 3D layers with a camera zapping around.

I have, and I could probably do it, but I wanted to follow a tutorial so I could get it looking as good as that

Also - if you take Andrew Kramer's AfterEffect 101 and go through all of the tutorials - you will be able to accomplish that effect. Easy peasy.

Yeah, this is basic motion graphics.

Work through the basic training on Videocopilot

You will not regret the 2 hours or so spent going through all of these.
