Title: Floating
Name: Sue Marino
Country: United Kingdom
Software: Photoshop

Not a very imaginative title I'm afraid! I just couldn't think of anything so I went simple.

All done in Photoshop CS3 with the Wacom. I suppose it took me 2 days on and off. I had fun with the water; I hope you can tell it's water! Quite a lot of usage of the smudge tool on this. For me the face came together quite quickly and easily; usually I have to faff around for ages getting the skin right etc.

Thanks for looking

Sue

I think the simplest is Hardest..

This is an Awesome work of art, I can feel the delicacy and freshness.

That face is AMAZING! I'd love to see a walk-through sometime! The only thing I don't think works is the bubble pattern in the water at the top...just looks like a pass with a digital 'bubble' brush instead of the real McCoy.

Well Done! I agree with CGriffin about the bubbles, and I would like to see the hair more defined in a few areas for more visual interest. 5 stars from me. :buttrock:

Shahanart: Thanks so much!

Phoenix: Thanks; this means alot to me.

Cris: Thanks Cris. Now that you mention it, those bubbles do jar a little. I am so bad at saving stages of my work for walk throughs etc. Unfortunately all I've got on this one is what you see here. But the next face I paint I will really discipline myself to keep saving stages so that I can show you lot how I do it. But I warn you now my working methods are pretty chaotic and disorganised!

Moonvisionstudio: Thanks for your comments and all those stars!

MCorrea: Thanks. I'm so glad you like it.

Sidsix: Well, those titles would have most certainly been better than my lame attempt.

rexzou: Many thanks for your kind comment.

Matasorapit: Thanks very much.

Diane: I'm really flattered and SO pleased that you like this. Many thanks.

Very well done!

Brilliant portrayal of water. The face stands out yet your eyes are still drawn to explore the rich swirling colors around it.
