Is there a way I can set MAX to use linear lines in the track view instead of the default bezier curves. I'd much rather animate it all with no ease in/out then put the curves in later where they are needed. Not explained that very well but hopefully some one will understand. thanks

Next time you assign a linear controller click the "make default" button. Every object subsequently created will have that controller assigned. You can also do this somewhere in preferences, but I forget where.

Thanks I had a look in the normal preferences, and under animation/controller defaults/set defaults you can change the type used. Great now back to the animating
