Hi all

I'm doing a Trophy illustration. The client wants lots of twinkles (small lights) reflected in the material.

I'm having difficulty achieving this, I suppose I need very small area lights with no illumination, but to appear in the reflective material.

Any ideas

Cheers

Steve

Twinkle twinkle little star, have you seen what the highlights videopost effects are? :)

I would try using a material with a hard, small noise in the bump channel and a very high/tight specular. But if you have a pic of what he's aiming for that would be good.

I tried that, but couldn't get a very nice look. Granted I only tried for about 20 minutes....
