Title: Dusk in Along bay
Name: Oscar Pacheco
Country: Espaņa
Software: 3ds max, Photoshop, Vue
Hi all! In this picture I tried to represent a nice dusk in the Along bay (Vietnam). The ships have been modeled in 3D Max but all rendered in VUE 6 under a dusk atmosphere. Some filters and corrections applied in Photoshop CS2.
Hope you like it!
C&C are always welcome!
Thanks!

*scratches head* Why would 4 people give this 1 star. Unless there's something I don't know about, I think it's pretty ignorant people people would rate this like that and not even post a reply. I think the scene is very calming, and I like what you've done with it. Lighting, the water, post comp. Seriously, people around here like to ruin others self-esteem. :curious:

Excellent image. I would love to know how you created the water. Any chance you could put together a quick run down on how you created the water material?

Hi guys! Thanks for comments and support! :)
The water material is from VUE. I changed the scale for make it more suitable with the view...
VUE it's amazing for this type of pics, with big and open environments.
I'm making a new scene in Max where the ship can be view clearly. In this pic they are too dark... but I like it ;)
Thanks again for support, and sorry for my english! (corrections are welcome too! ;) )
