Is it posible to make good, comparable game to nowdays game. This game will have 3D part and mostly 2D, manager/strategic game.
My friend is very good in VB and network developement (he works for one bank).
We will use VB + directX 8.1

Please give us some feedback::eek:

I believe you are asking for reasurance that you have the ability to make a good game, and I will answer as such:

YES!!! I am a firm believer in that a game that is fun and addictive will beat any game that actually has a "budget", loocks amazing, but sucks a fat one. Take a look at www.brainchilddesign.com they have a game called Jump and Bump that is so simple in concept, but one of the greatest games ever. Don't be intimidated by todays game market, it needs more independents.

I don't think so, sorry to say... VB isn't optimised enough to bring 3D to life, you'll need C++ for that...
