nice work, the overall finish is very professional looking although have some crits. Some of the animation could do with a little tweaking, particularly some of the walk cycles on the alien character, his upper body seemed to be twisting left and right quite a lot and I think you could do with more movement in his hips as the characters weight shifts from one leg to another. That and in the shot near the end where the character pulls the different items out from off screen it doesn't seem that his eyes actually move to look at the items before he reacts. At least its not very obvious from that particular camera angle. But, anyway, asides from that it was quite an enjoyable little short, and as I said, the production quality(as with most things produced at VFS) is very good. Keep up the good work buddy.

Good film and idea. But I think the "line" thing not clear at all. I think the border line must be more red or maybe broken line. And then the alien draws a broken line to "bend" the border and the watcher will understand more.

Sorry for my bad english. :)

Great work spot bot,

I enjoyed the film and I think you did a great job with the pacing and designs!
If you are looking for constructive crits, I thought a 50 second intro is too long for a 3 and half minute film, and the Mr Bean style vocalization of every (all the grunting and AHAaa`s etc) emotion and intention is a bit much, you can let the animation express that stuff.

Well done mate, you should be proud!

Cheers

you're right. i think it's sort of a beginner's mistake. i'll definitely get into the story itself faster in my next project. my intention was to give the audience a feeling for the boredom the traffic light experiences on this planet.
