This is a Steampunk Siren that is used to keep enemy ships from landing onshore (in one piece that is) >:)

The Siren's hypnotic song come from a Phonograph inside her torso.

So eery and spooky! I can imagine it in the bottom of the sea, as an ancient trap for seamen of the future :) awesome work, looking forward to see her coming to life ;)

Did not realize the final submission date for images was Jan. 12th. Everything I have been seeing is Feb. 3. I couldn't find a solid Image due date anywhere in the rules, categories or FAQ. :( I only noticed that I had less than 36 hours when saw the time left on the "submit entry" page. What a bummer.

doing some work on the background. The Siren will not be all shiny in the end. Just playing around with colors.
