looking good!
Imo, the "dents" under the eyes are a little extreme.
Well done.

nice head model sanciok, but, am I wrong or there's something doesn't work in the eyes zone, or in the zone around?

sonciok, I mean, if I look the eyes and the zone around I don't see enough realism on the shape of the features
La zona degli occhi e quella circostante è poco realistica nel lineamenti.

my only crit is that you should lose semetry in the middle of the saved beard because it matches on both sides

sanciok, I like him. it's good to see a face that's got some real-life looking features. I like how the mouth juts out some.
I agree with Adam that the eyes are a bit too round at the corners. Also, I can't quite decide if it bothers me or not that his cheekbones almost don't appear to be there... as though they are really squashed in. It's an area that draws my eye to it. Maybe you want that effect?
A side note: if someone *modeled* Willem Defoe's head (and if he didn't exist in the real world) we might all think, wow, what kind of a odd-looking head to think up. So many 3D heads look like perfect people, all airbrushed and symmetrical and smooth. No real bone structure variation and so on. End side note.:)
Anyhow, I like seeing this guy because he's so much an individual.
It's my bed time! Good night!

1st: the eyes: wonderful! (except for those huuuge pupils, what did he smoke? :D) More colour variation to the skin, the ear needs some modeling tweaking, use Otto's mesh as a reference. If you got it use Translucent (or Chanlum) in the luminance channel to simulate SSS. I hope it helps.
