To keep myself active I started on another dwarf character (I always liked them dwarves), and worked on it for about two hours a day during a week. I tried a different kind of torch and was rather meticulous in the polishing... other than that this piece was mostly for practice. I suppose I steered towards realism rather than a painterly feel.
