Hi,

We finished another commercial for Bridgestone here at ProMotion (http://www.promotionstudios.com) a few weeks ago, and it's now on air in Australia. It's all Blender, we used the built in 'bullet' physics engine for the popcorn.

Since when did Brdigestone start using a Gekko mascot? Isn't that a complete rip off of Geiko?

I've seen this on TV, great work Matt. How long did the shot take you? just took a look at ur blog too and had a chuckle at the vase being used in the olympics, cant even imagine how surprised you must have been!

Bridgestone started using their gecko in 1999, and has done so continuously since throughout Australia. He was originally conceived as the comedy offsider of a famous Australian race driver Peter Brock.

How long has the Geiko gecko been around?
