After a lot of thought I decided to undertake the Pinocchio story as my subject. Here is the first set of concepts. We have Pinocchio Steampunk sat on the workshop table. Hooked up to Steampowered utilities mirroring a marionette rig.Rather than strings controlling him he is steam powered by pipes and tubing. I am looking to capture a moment of thought and longing in marionette to be a 'real boy'.

After much thought I have changed the angle of the shot, and changed the lighting idea. I wanted to get this done before proceeding with the hires modelling and texturing.
