My favourite mythical character is Anubis from the Egypt mythology. I am going to put him into a modern science fiction setting. This is a rough concept of the scene, where the action is going to be.
I was inspired by Vladimir Kufeld`s image, so this credit is for his nice picture on Cgsociety.

The render has been set up, and the modeling is in progress.
Maya was used for modeling, and Cinema 4d for rendering. If I have the time I will set it up with other renderers.

The base model was made in Maya. The displacement sculpting was done with Mudbox.
