AmnesicElephant 06-17-2003, 01:34 AM I recently receved a Katana as a birthday present (to start off my edge weapon collection) and was so inspired by it that I decided to model it. Let me know what you think. I'm probably going to use it in some other still piece in the near future.

it's really nice
but it looks straight in the big picture..
katanas have a slight curve

As previously mentioned, the blade has a slight curve to it. In addition, the tip is a tad off and you're missing the pommel. Here are a couple of references:
