I've started 2 challenges before, both 3D, so i thought i would do a 2d one, which i think i may actually get done :P

Okay, here are some opening sketches, im not very good at drawing - but I hope to get better...

the second one i did first, to get the idea down, then i tried the first one, I like the idea, and will now try to do an action pose, and see if i can start colouring that one.

any help as to what i can do to actually get better at drawing (i know i have huge anatomy problems) would be helpful, just dont flame me :)

thanks... I really hope to finish this one.

oh and ill get back with an idea for the game idea soon, im thinking RPG

Start posing the character and you'll get tips from everyone here. Good start man. I'd try starting out with a skeletal setup or something. Just do a light general pose of how you want the character to look and then start building from there.:thumbsup:

thanks.. the skeleton thing is how I generally draw, the action pose I have now isnt very action packed, so what I may do is go looking through some books for other people and 'steal' there pose.. that way my anatomy might come out a bit better.

let's see how this works.

added another sketch, going to ink this and then probably start colouring it... I'm not sure if it's my final pose though.

started colouring : maybe this will produce some comments. Im using photoshop to colour, no wacom (i have one but dont feel like using it right now)

I'm going to let this sit for a bit then come back to it..
