Could be the lighting, but the eyes kinda look like they need to be back a bit further. On the second test render pic they kinda look like they are coming out of the head. Great job so far by the way!

Thks guys.
Animator395:
I know the eyes are a little "out" but that is needed for the short!
Jjack:
Yes, he will be animated, but he won't talk, so no lip-sync...
just some facial expressions... I know there's a lot of poly but not so much (1800 I think).
And now, a little update with UV map "photoshoped" by a friend with who I make the short:
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/cyroz2000/images/pedalus/wip-UV.jpg
On this comp I tried different settings of bump and color, but all the maps are not done for the moment; here are also some problems with the ears, and some stretching!

Here is a little update, with some corrections to the UV, and little morph tests:

I think the head is good that way, I got to get back on modelisation of the body now.
See you!

Wow, fabulous modeling and texturing. Any insights as to your method of texturing.
Looks more like 50-55 to me, about the closest to a crit I can get!!!

Texture is an UV made from photo references with photoshop by Renaud a co-worker, he the one who told me about this project.

Yes enzodiac there's a bump map, but it's just a grayscale and edited version of the color map, the maps are just put to see what it looks like, but there will be more work on the texture side when model will be finished!

hey thats a nicely modeled head. Can't wait to see it finished. One thing, I noticed you have some triangles in the geometry and loops arent perfect, besides that, i really think its looking great.

he looks great...the modeling is amazing...
old dude has some strong muscles here
cyroz2000
06-21-2003, 03:35 PM
Yes he a bit too much strong, i had to make his chest less muscular, but not the legs as for the short;he's supposed to do cycling all his life...
Let's say he is cycling all his life for 10 years, how would be his anatomy? Suggestions welcome!
See ya!
