first concept of my steampunk version of Capt. Future

hey everyone,

this is my first cg challenge ever and I'm very excited about it. I was reading the FAQ section after i posted my concept/idea based on an old japanese and european tv series that I wanted to alter. and now I'm not so sure if I have chosen my topic right. The whole theme "Steampunk Myths and Legends" is a little confusing to not only me as it seams.

So if anyone is sure my entry will be disqualified please tell me. In this case this challenge would be bevor it really started for me.

Hi mcscher, I don't know if your idea will be disqualified, however the theme for the competition is to take a myth or legend, such as Icarus flying to close to the sun, and depict it in a steampunk way, such as maybe Icarus' has metal wings (probably gold) with lots of gears that run them and he probably has some cool goggles.
