View Full Version : Is Cinema the best 3d app on Mac?

I get a Macbook Pro, also for some occasional 3d stuff.
Which is the best adapted 3d application for MAC? I hear Maya has quite a bit of issues, as has Lightwave. XSI doesn't exist at all. I was using C4d at my former employer and liked it a lot, as it does everything I need easily. Houdini should also work like a charm, as it is 64bit on OsX. However Houdini is more a hobby to me.

C4d or any other suggestions?

God no not another one of these threads.....

There is no such thing as the best 3d application for the mac.... it all depends on what you do with the 3d application. there are many 3d programs for the mac.

Obviously everyone here will say yes c4d, cuz its a c4d forum.

But.....Cinema 4D is the most stable 3d app out there..... we had a thread about this a few days ago..... so from that perspective, you are least likely to experience stability problems.

Do a search, this has been discussed way to many times already.....

And from what I know....these kinds of threads all get locked.

just install Windows and buy Max on it :)
