Hi
I used VRay 1.5 R3 for quite a long time. It was perfect and smooth.
Lately I installed a newer version of VRay which has some new features like camera clipping and Roughness parameter for the vraymats.
But I don't know what's wrong with this version that it takes an age to calculate Light cache and Irr even for the simplest scene (say a sofe in an empty room.)
Please help me put of this problem

here is the link for chaos group's support page (http://www.chaosgroup.com/en/2/support.html).
I guess that you should also have a screenshot of your settings so they can pinpoint the cause of endless calculation.

Which version of which software are you using ? :) I suggest it`s 3ds max, well, because I had the same problem with Vray 1.5 sp2 and 3ds max 2009.And I don`t know what the problem is,but it takes really long time for the simplest scene to render.I asked in forums, but nobody could tell me.So now I`m using Vray 1.5 RC5 and 3ds max9,and I`m really glad.Actually RC3 used to crash very often, and now I don`t have that problem.
