my apologies, from the screenshots provided this game looks to have some very bland character design, an outdated engine, and just has a very old feel to it. Diakatana lookes better than this and that's what, 3-4 years old. And why are they having a skinning contest for it? Sounds like a mystery to me, a Scoob.

Did you guys notice this is a massively multiplayer game?

The engine and graphics are not outdated. They are just limited to allow for a smooth gameplay with hundreds of online players in the same area.
Also, the screens do not show the full potential, as they are kept at lowest detail. What you see there is plain architecture.

The player characters have an average polycount of around 1850, which is not a low number for MMOG's these days. Sure, it can't compete the amount of detail of SWG, but it sure can compete the visuals of other MMOG's on the market and the ones being in development.

The contest is adressed to those who see a challenge in creating a skin for an online game. I heavily respect the members of these boards. So, come on guys. Show that you are able to rock!

Because a competition is not always just a way to get new input, it's also a way to find new talents.
