Nice composition, leads the eye well, her personality is told very well in both pose and expression, color is playful and there is a traditional feel to the whole, great work man

Yay. Glad to see it's done! The final colour scheme is so warm . I'm cold here i'm appreciating the temperature feeling of your image. Looking forward to reading the article. Oh and she doesn't look too clumsy to me.

I love the colors and the technique!
But I think her skin could be more wet and glossy, to accentuate her sensuality.
Greate work, Brunet!

Marc,
I will have to get a copy of that magazine issue. This is absolutely beautiful. Not only is the execution top-notch, but the piece is beautiful, has incredible use of color, is well designed, and expressive -- truly a work of art.
One thing I am extremely critical of in art pieces is pose. You nailed it. The posture, the body language, from her expression to her foot in the water, is right on.
I absolutely adore this piece. Well done.

Fabulous work....your style is very reminiscent of Curse of Monkey Island PC game from LusasArts. Always admired the graphics in that game and series, and wished that I could create similar. You can and I will be watching in 2009 for more works from you. Thank you, thank you.
I think I just fell inlove with a pirate!
Everything looks great, works well:beer:

Very nicely done. this image really jumped out at me, I read you tutorial in ImagineFX before seeing it here. I like the way you control the brush, its almost as if it has a wood carved look while still giving the effect of smooth skin. I also really like her eyes, you capture alot of emotion in them. Nice work.

I like this peice, great mood shot . Except you need to lose the life preserver. For two reasons. One it is distracting to the piece the other is it doesn't fit the era. Perhaps a dolphin's head breaching the water in curiosity??
Cheers

I love all of your work. I've watched you on dA and I've seen your art morph over the past few years. I really like your style and your texture that you create with your brushes. The lighting in this piece is fantastic. Love it. And the water is great. I don't like water. It's so tricky.
