A quick sketch of my steampunk version of the Hindu goddess Durga. I will polish up this concept art over the weekend so that when I start modeling I'll have a clear vision of how I want it to look like. The thing underneath her is a mechanical liger by the way.

She looks much better now :)
Maybe you should tink about the little dot in the middle of her brow. In LOTR movie, Arwen was wearing a crown that has jewels falling to her brow. You can use something like that.

cg-designer: Thanks! That dangling jewelry is excactly what I had in mind! I'm going to give her steampunkish clothes and lots of jewelry.

Experimenting with the costume...

Instead of the original weapons I'm going to give her different firearms for each hand. And each firearm will have some sort of connection to the original weapon that it replaces.
