View Full Version : Dear all Brits: £20 English 20 Pound note

Hello,

I am working with Vray in 3ds max 9. I am making a 20 pound note. This is the one with the design that just came out this year.

I am wondering what reflective values you reckon it should have? I noticed its slightly reflective, but I have no idea about how do define how reflective it is, or how specular the reflections are.

Yea it's a while since I've seen one of those as I'm pretty skint right
now so rarely have anything more than a tenner on me!

I guess it's like most of the other notes though, so the metallic thread
and hologram bits will be the main areas to concern yourself with and perhaps
some of the type as well. Hard to say without having one in my hand to refer to.

If you get one over the counter at the bank rather than chance your luck
at a cashpoint you should be able to tell by briefly studying it.

If you had've put that tenner on all 4 of the big premiership sides not scoring a single goal yesterday(first time in 86 years!!) then your financial outlook might appear rather different this morning,my friend:D

Also,the metallic strip and hologram would only appear visible if backlit from a direct, strong lightsource.
